I have lived in the Annapolis, Maryland area since 1986. I am currently a Senior Network Engineer for the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. You can see my resume here. I was born in Boston, MA, grew up and went to school in Northern NJ and have lived my "adult" life in MD. I hope to move back to the New England area sometime in the future to enjoy the cold and snow. I'm still holding out hope that I will be able to visit the base camp at Mt. Everest in Nepal sometime.

Jaime and I have been married for over two years now and have our first child, Lillia.

I am a hockey fan with the Washington Capitals being my favorite, and hometown, team. The New Jersey Devils are a close second being the NJ team. I'm also a fan of bicycles of all types. I raced BMX, rode Freestyle, worked in bike shops, and have even built my own frames. So far I've built one mountain bike frame for a friend and one road frame for myself. I'm always on the lookout for unusual bikes or parts and would like to own an original SE Quadangle some day. It's one BMX bike I always wanted and never had. The new aluminum version is nice but doesn't have the mystique of the original design.

My favorite band is a local, and still unsigned, group called Laughing Colors. The fact that these guys are still unsigned shows how screwed up the record industry is these days. LC has decided to call it quits at the end of 2004. The local music scene will never be the same.

I am a founding member of the Mad-Techies, a group of techies who after tiring of listening to the less than technical on technical mailing lists, and getting warned about off-topic posts, we created a completely off-topic list of our own. That grew into a worldwide group of friends with some amazing talents.
