On July 4th, 2001 at 9:10pm I proposed to Jaime and she said yes. We were at the fireworks in Castine, ME with friends and family. I asked her sister Heidi to take some pictures then around the 3rd or 4th picture I got down on my knee, put the ring on her finger and said "Happy Birthday!". Before I could ask THE question Jaime put her hands to her face and started hugging me and everyone else. About ten minutes later I asked if she would marry me and her reply was "of course". Below are some pictures of the event. Since it was dark and everyone was excited most of the pics aren't great but they do capture the moment.
